Hi, I’m Evan Veillette — an audio professional based in Victoria, BC, with a passion for storytelling through sound. I specialize in audio post-production and composition, bringing nearly a decade of hands-on experience in editing, mixing, sound design, and original music creation. Whether it's cleaning up dialogue for clarity, designing immersive soundscapes, composing music that enhances emotion, or mixing audio to match visuals, my goal is always the same: To help tell a better story through sound.

My journey into the world of audio began early. I started composing music at just 14 years old, captivated by the creative freedom of songwriting and the emotional connection that music can create. As I continued writing and exploring new sounds, I naturally began collaborating with other artists, which gradually opened the door to working with filmmakers. Over time, this passion expanded into a deeper interest in audio post-production and sound design, where I discovered how integral sound is to shaping a story’s tone, pacing, and impact.

To develop my skills further, I pursued formal training at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario — one of Canada’s most respected programs for audio and music production. I received a diploma after completing the Music Industry Arts program in 2024 and went on to collect a certificate after completing the Audio Post-Production program in 2025. These programs gave me a solid foundation in both the technical and creative sides of audio, opening up the doors to work across a wider range of media.

Over the past three years, I’ve worked extensively in professional studio environments, gaining valuable experience with consoles like the SSL Duality and Avid S6. These tools, combined with a detailed understanding of efficient audio workflows and editing techniques, allow me to deliver polished, high-quality results — whether I’m working on a film, series, music, podcast, game, or commercial project.
